Absolutely. We use AES-256-GCM encryption on the client side (in your browser) before your letter is ever sent to our servers. This means we literally cannot read your letters even if we wanted to. You hold the only key.
No. To preserve the authenticity of your past self's thoughts, letters cannot be edited once sealed. You can, however, delete a scheduled letter if you change your mind about sending it.
dear me is currently completely free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future for power users (like video letters), but the core written time capsule experience will always be free.
